Google Sketch Up Project

Here's a link to some tutorials that will help you with the project.

Here's a link to download the program and use at home for free.

Students are evaluated on four parts:
1. Chair (20 marks) (Assignment 20)
2. Table (20 marks) (Assignment 21)
3. Room design (60 marks) (Quiz 7)
4. The PAA project they made in wood working (100 marks) (Quiz 8).

Each item made will begin at 100%, there will be no creativity marks. Deductions are based on structural errors or design flaws (dimensions incorrect, hollowed out items, etc...). Getting 100% on this project is more than do-able. Work hard, have fun and let's see some cool designs!

Chords and Tangent Lines
  1. Tangent Radius Property ex1
  2. Bisector Chords
Angles

ex1- What if the diameter is a chord, what do we know about the inscribed angle?
ex2- What about opposite angles in a cyclic quadrilaterals? part 1 part 2
ex3- Word problem involving lights and inscribed angles by the same arc.
ex4- Inscribed angles in a cyclic quadrilateral
ex5- A very difficult question that will take a lot of pausing and playing part 1 part 2

Unit 8- Statistics

Real World Live Statistics (probably not 100% accurate, but cool none the less)

This year we will be doing a project based unit. Students need to complete two major tasks.
1. Write a paper based on either research (stats Canada) or project based (survey) data.
2. Present these materials in an appropriate format.
